"Things work out best for those who make the best of how things work out"-John Wooden
This was the quote that google gave me today and I must say that Google gives good inspirational quotes that make you think very deeply and I love it. Well, enough of me being mesmerized by Google it's time to dissect another quote. So when I first read this, I had a little trouble understanding what it was trying to say. In my perspective, it means that the outcomes are good if the person knows how to work it out and I feel like I got it, but only partly. Honestly this in a way clears my mind because it makes me realizes that if I want good things to happen then I must use them for good and not bad. This makes me realize why bad things happen to me in the past and it was because I received something good, but I abused it to the point where the goodness in them had faded and was beginning to become corrupted and were now going against me. Now with this realization, I will be cautious about what I receive and if it's something good then I will treat it good so it won't go against me. In a way, this can lead to the IB profile where it will go under principled, balanced, and reflective. It will go under principled because people will begin to understand what they have done in the past which probably lead to bad experiences and learn from them. This can also connect with reflective because people are being reflective of their past experiences and try to see what they could differently if they come face-to-face to the same situation. When they have finally understood and learned from their mistakes then they will become well-balanced and their aura or soul can be at ease. This truly makes me feel cleanse and free and I hope others will feel the same way if they read this quote.

"The most common way people give up their power is by thinking they don't have any"-Alice Walker
This quote literally made me think very deeply upon its meaning. To me, it is trying to convey that people tend to give up on doing something that they want to do, but they end up doubting themselves. If this what it means then I will try to help people who are facing this and encourage them to keep on going and to never give up. Now that I realize when typing these words, I'm beginning to inspire myself in doing so and I might actually do it because when seeing people smile I tend to feel great for doing so. When I help others I feel great maybe because of the respect I gain, but honestly, it is because I just like to make my friends happy even through the worst of times. I just hate it when my friends get brought down when they are not able to achieve something and simply give up, but I will do my best to get their spirits back up in order for them to achieve their goal. If I manage to do this then I will be a happy person. "Believe and act as if it were impossible to fail"-Charles Kettering
This is one quote that I have never come across because it makes me think a lot of what it is trying to say. In my perspective, it is trying to say that to keep believing in what you believe in and act as how you want to act as if nothing can stop you. If it truly means this than I like it because everyone has their own beliefs and no one can make them change them. Alongside everyone else, I too have beliefs of my own that I won't let anyone change them or prove them wrong because these beliefs make me who I am today. Without beliefs of our own everyone would be the same and everything in this world would be dull and bland. Also if we let people step and ruin our beliefs we sometimes tend to get lost and we usually are confused and need help to find their path once again. Family and good friends can help because sometimes they are the result of what you have contributed to this world and no one else can do the same. In a way, this connects with people being knowledgeable because everyone learns through their beliefs and everyone tends to have different opinions on those beliefs. Also, it can connect to being open-minded even though most everyone doesn't like to hear others beliefs, but if the person you are talking with is trustworthy and makes good points about something you hadn't thought about then it makes you change a small bit of your belief. But the main point is that to stay true to what you believe in and what act for. "The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek"-Joseph Campbell
This is week three of doing this awesome experience and I'm glad doing this because I love trying to apply the quotes to my life. Inspiring quotes can make a huge difference in a person when they come across and they think really hard on it. In my perspective, inspiring quotes hold great knowledge where a person must ponder upon it and try to figure it out what it means. Well this quote is new to me and I feel this one holds great power. Well to me this quote is trying to say that the thing you want to do is something that you are scared and holds what you want to accomplish. As an example could be a person who is a great orator and who wants to speak what they believe in could change society, but they are afraid of being in front of an audience and maybe being ignored by the audience. I feel that if you truly want to achieve even though something you fear is in the way, the only thing you can do is conquer it and only then you can acquire what you want and maybe find yourself . |
