"When you are feeling the flow, you have the power to do almost anything. With the support of friends and family, the flow can get even stronger."-Robert Solorio
Today I wanted to do something different and since I have seen many other quotes, I felt it was time for me to create my own. At first glance, this quote may seem a little hard to understand, but it is ok because I will explain what it means right at this second. So what my quote is trying to say is that when you feel good about yourself and what is going around then you have the power to whatever you want and I mean by whatever you want I mean that you can follow the path that you want to take and to accomplish what you think will make you happy. The second part supports the first because, in my own experiences, I usually feel the flow when I am with my friends because I know deep down that I will always learn something from them, learning something very important or something ridiculous. To add more to the experience, I want to add an example. Since I have revealed that I love anime and that I have love specific ones like Naruto, One Piece, and Yugioh. But the reason why I bring them up is that they only feel the flow when they have their friends with them because to the main characters in each of these anime, their friends are the most important thing in the world to them and not only that, they also get their strength from the bonds that they make with them. This to me inspired me to make my own quote and I have to admit that my quote kind of derives from another one, but I changed it in a different way or in my own my version. Honestly, I will stay true this quote because having to me is the greatest thing you can acquire in life. Just like the other quotes I will connect mine to the IB Learner profile and it seems to associate with three and they are knowledgeable, caring, and being reflective. Come to think of it this quote of mine seems to associate with almost all the parts of the learner profile, but I chose this three spefically because they seem to emphasize the meaning of it. So to start off, this quote is connected with being knowledgeable because like I said before having friends and relatives close, you will most likely learn something very important. Also having these people close to us is what builds our character and our personality. I'll admit if it weren't for my friends I wouldn't be who I am today and now I want to give them my thanks for being there for me and for being my friends. This revealing of my feelings will connect to the other part of the learner profile which is caring. It seems pretty clear that we always want the people we love to stay safe and sometimes we worry when something out of the usual happens, but that is ok because that means you actually care for someone and that you want them to keep them close. Finally the last part will be being able to reflect what you have done. What I mean by this is that when you and friends do something, sometimes you will reflect upon that and will try to learn from it. To clarify, let us say that you and your friends did something one way and when you are done doing it that specific way, you will all try to see if there was doing the same thing, but in a different method. This would also apply to morality because we are always trying to reflect on how we act because we never want to make someone upset. Well, there is my analysis of my own quote and I hope you will like it. Until the next time. Learning Outcomes:

"Champions keep playing until they get it right"-Billie Jean King
At first glance of this quote I thought of the saying that my principal always says and that is "be champions on the field, but also champions in the classroom "-Dr.Gomez. When you hear this saying of his it may seem that it has nothing in common in the meaning, but that it only has the same word in both the quote and my principal's saying and that is "Champions". But while thinking it over and over, I finally found something that both the saying and quote have in common and that is that being champion is great and all but a true champion is always working hard. In my principal's saying, it sounds like he is trying to encourage us to jeep working hard at what we are doing and that is to learn all that we can and get into a great college or university. This is what the quote is trying to convey, that people become true champions when they keep working hard even if they are pretty good in whatever they are good in. This in my eyes is the true definition of a champion because a "fake champion" is someone who only wants to be good just because they are trying to impress people or they want fame and that to me is a not right . To me, a true champion is someone who works hard to become good at something because that is what they desire and they always push themselves to the limit trying to accomplish it. Now that to me is a true champion and I have seen many great champions in my life and I have to say that Dr. Thomas is a true champion because she worked hard to get to the point she is at now and not only she provides us with wise words that makes a student to never back down and that to me is the greatest thing in a person. To that I want to say thanks to her because she has taught me many things and in a way her teachings have constricted my personality in a great way and that I all have to say thanks one more time and to make a promise to her. That promise I will reveal in another CAS Experience and I will tell you all what it is in due time. As usual, I will connect this quote with the IB learner profile and this one is going to be fun to associate it with. As I went back to the profile I saw that this quote associates well with balanced, knowledgeable, and being an inquirer. Let's start with balanced because I want to explain why this quote is associated with this part. A champion just doesn't focus on what they work for, they fully understand that there are may obstacles in becoming a champion. To provide more insight, let's say an athlete working hard for maybe being in the Olympics and he is on the right path, but he has a lot to do like homework and maybe some community service. At first, you may think that he won't make it because he if he focuses on one thing he will fail on the others, but that ain't true. A true champion knows how to deal with situations like these and becomes organized in which he gives everything he does an equal amount of attention and that is truly amazing. Well to move on, this quote associates pretty well with becoming knowledgeable. This may seem weird, but champions always have some piece knowledge that is great to share. Whatever they become champions in they become somewhat knowledgeable in that field in which they find out the rights and wrongs of becoming a champion. Oh I almost forgot, that I added a new learning outcome which is ethics of choices and actions because along the path of becoming a champion in my perspective they come across obstacles in which they must choose the right from the wrong. But either way let's finally move on to the last part . Champions may become inquires because at times they need help from others to keep on going. Usually they get this help from love ones, friends, and if they lucky they can get it from their idol and this help really constructs a champion. Well this was a good quote to analyze and it's finally time to end it. Well to until the next one. Learning Outcomes:
"The starting point of all achievement is desire"-Napoleon Hill
Today's quote I have to say is very interesting because the message is interesting as well, but to me it holds great power and I'm trying to understand why I feel this way. How I see it the quote' s message is that achievement only happens if we have the desire to to do what we want to achieve. I think it is trying to say this because in reality if you don't have the desire to achieve what you want then achievement is meaningless. To clarify a bit let provide you with an example. Let's say a girl's or boy's parents wants them to follow the path that they took let's just say they both are lawyers, but they don't desire that path because they are interested in something else like maybe being an artist or an athlete. To continue on, let's say that they follow the path of their parents, the only thing that is going to haunt them or maybe stay with them is that their "false achievement" is meaningless to them. To finally put it together, or to end my example, the truth is that when we want to achieve something it should have meaning at the end of the road. Now it's time to connect this quote just like all the others I have analyzed, with the IB learner profile. Well now that we have analyzed it, I think this quote can associate itself with knowledgeable and risk-taker. I want to start off with risk-taker because I have a feeling that this part of the learner profile is strange to be associated with the quote, but let me explain my reasoning. I say it's risk-taker because with what we desire sometimes comes at a risk, like the example I gave in the previous paragraph. To add an alternative, let's say that they do follow their own path meaning they are training to be an athlete or artist, well the risk has begun. At first you may think that there is no risk, but remember fellow grasshoppers that in away they are risking the respect of their parents. We know that sometimes we against our parents obligations, we tend to loose their respect and sometimes their trust. But there is a way to get out of this situation and that is too show them that what you desire is what makes you happy because at times is very good to remind your parents that we are all different and we have our own path to follow and that it is wrong to be like someone else because we so.etimes tend to loose who we actually are . Wow I spoke a lot for this part, but I think it is time to move on to being knowledgeable. I said this quote is associated with knowledgeable because we become more intelligent or more knowing in what we want to pursue and also in how to convince people, mainly parent, that becoming somewhat like someone else is not right because every individual should be themselves because when they are themselves they are truly happy. Well that is the full break down of this quote and this one truly made me think like a philosopher and I really liked it. Well until next week. Learning Outcomes:
